The PowerEdge R440 is a compact 1U, two-socket rack server built for scale-out infrastructure where density and per-watt performance matter. It fits into edge deployments, colocation racks and clustered environments where space and power budgets are tight.
Built on Intel Xeon Scalable processors, the R440 offers up to two CPUs with up to 22 cores each, paired with 16 DDR4 DIMM slots supporting RDIMM or LRDIMM memory up to 1TB. Embedded iDRAC9 with Lifecycle Controller gives agent-free, at-server and remote management out of the box.
Storage is genuinely flexible for a 1U chassis: up to 10 x 2.5" SAS/SATA/SSD bays with room for 4 NVMe drives, or a 4 x 3.5" configuration for bulk capacity, plus internal M.2 boot drives that free up front bays entirely for data storage.
Every R440 we supply is configured to order, so you choose processor count, memory capacity, drive type and RAID controller to match the workload rather than paying for a fixed spec you don't need.
