NetApp H610S-2 - 1U Dual-Socket Storage-Dense Server
The H610S-2 is a 1U rack platform built on Intel's 1st and 2nd Generation Xeon Scalable architecture, giving buyers a choice of CPU generations depending on budget and workload requirements.
With 24 DIMM slots supporting up to 2TB of DDR4 memory across dual sockets, this platform suits workloads that need substantial in-memory headroom without moving to a 2U chassis.
A Quanta LSI SAS3516 12Gb/s RAID controller handles the 12x SFF drive bays, with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 available, plus an internal NVMe riser for flash caching or boot tiering.
Dual 800W power supplies, IPMI 2.0 with dedicated KVM access, and three PCIe Gen3.0 expansion slots round out a platform that's equally at home as a storage node or a compute host.
Every H610S-2 is configured to order - choose your CPUs, memory, drives and network cards before it ships.
All hard drives are tested to 100% health · All SSDs are tested to 90-100% health

The NetApp H610S-2 packs dual-socket Xeon Scalable compute, 2TB of DDR4 headroom and 12 SFF drive bays into a single 1U chassis - a platform built for storage-dense deployments and RAM-hungry workloads alike.
Configure to your workload
Use the configurator below to choose your CPU generation, memory capacity, drive count and network options. Whether you're building a storage node, a virtualisation host or a general-purpose compute unit, the H610S-2's expansion slots and NVMe riser give you room to tailor the build precisely.
Typical Use Cases
- Software-defined storage nodes for Ceph, StorageOS or similar scale-out platforms
- Hyperconverged infrastructure clusters needing dense RAM per node
- Virtualisation hosts running VMware ESXi, Proxmox or Hyper-V
- NVMe-cached SAS storage tiers for latency-sensitive applications
- Database servers requiring large in-memory working sets
- Backup and archive targets using 12x SFF drive density
- General-purpose compute nodes for on-premises private cloud
