A 2U rack server built specifically for accelerated computing, the R750xa carries up to four double-width 300 W GPUs in the front chassis plus two single-width 75 W cards at the rear, all fed by up to eight PCIe Gen4 slots.
Two 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors of up to 40 cores each drive eight memory channels per socket across 32 DDR4 DIMM slots at speeds to 3200 MT/s, with RDIMM capacity to 2 TB and LRDIMM to 4 TB. Intel Optane Persistent Memory 200 series is supported in up to 16 slots.
Front storage runs to eight 2.5-inch SAS/SATA/NVMe bays, or six direct-attach NVMe SSDs, behind PERC H745, H755, H755N, H345, HBA355i or software RAID. BOSS-S2 provides a mirrored pair of M.2 SSDs for the hypervisor or operating system, keeping the front bays free for data.
Management is iDRAC9 with Redfish, telemetry streaming and OpenManage Enterprise integration; security includes Silicon Root of Trust, Secure Boot, signed firmware and System Lockdown. Air cooling is standard with optional direct processor liquid cooling.

The PowerEdge R750xa is Dell's GPU-first 2U platform: four double-width 300 W accelerators in the front of the chassis, two more single-width cards at the rear, and up to eight PCIe Gen4 slots to connect them all to two 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors.
Thirty-two DDR4 DIMM slots across eight channels per socket carry up to 4 TB at 3200 MT/s, with Intel Persistent Memory 200 series supported in up to 16 slots. Front storage runs to eight 2.5-inch SAS/SATA/NVMe bays or six direct-attach NVMe SSDs, and the BOSS-S2 module keeps the hypervisor on a mirrored pair of M.2 SSDs rather than a data bay.
